Delete this post it's total bullshit.
Agreed.
The Porsche ceramic brakes are still only street brakes and while good they will still come up short against racing brakes. I own a 1995 Ferrari 355 Challenge car with the same Brembo brakes used on the Ferrari 333SP [...] I can outbrake nearly any racing car know to man, except purpose built factory race cars. No way I could ever outbreak a Ducati or any other expensive sport bike.
That depends on the circumstance. Motorcycles have ludicrous brake swept area/ton compared to any street-based car. However, their decelerative rate is limited by stoppies (opposite of wheelies). With sticky tires (read racing slicks) a car can stop more quickly than a motorcycle... *once*.
And no fucking way any M5 with only 500hp (look at Nowack's M5)is going to clock 3.7 to 60's. Even if it had 600 hp it would be limited by loss of traction and still not get under 4.0 secs.
Unless, of course, it had drag slicks on :) Oh, but wait, the original poster was too clever for his own good when he claimed that he put 20" wheels on the car. Nobody makes drag slicks for 20" wheels. Pity about that.Ben
