Sat in a 2001 M5 tonight (archive)

I attended the Miami Auto Show this evening. BMW had a LeMans Blue 2001 M5. The changes to the steering wheel and dash are awesome. The steering wheel seems smaller (although it probably isn't), thicker and the radio buttons are laid out much better. The integrated garage door opener was there (FINALLY) and the gauges are light grey in color and much easier on the eye than the 2000. I didn't get enough time to get any good pics because my daughter got cranky and it cut our visit short. I'm going back either Sat or Sun and will post some pics. I am so anxious to get my car more than ever..just a few more months.
