LI/NY Drive-Meet Update... (archive)

Well, it looks like the majority want to have it on Oct 15th.

We need to decide:
-where to start (maybe on Bald Hill by the Vietnam Memorial...)
-where to end (Hamptons, somewhere to hang out and where we could get something to eat...)
-the route (I know there are some cool windy roads in the Hamptons to drive on, post info about roads you know, etc.)

I guess, whatever we decide, we should probably meet up at 10am or so.

Post ideas, etc., and let's get this thing organized...

Why do the people on the west coast have all the fun? There are some cool driving roads and site out east, in the hamptons, etc.

Would anyone be interested in a LI drive/caravan/run?? It wouldn't have to just be BMW's...

If so, we should organize it soon, before the weather gets any worse. We would have to have it before the end of October...
