The ship left Bremerhaven on 10/3 not 10/4.

It usually takes 30-40 days once your car hits 151 status (body shop started). A car can sit in 150 status (production started) for a week until the chassis is actually assembled, which is really the real start of production. It also depends on if your car hits the transporation timing well. For example, once the car hits 155 (production completed)how quickly can it get on a truck from Dingolfing to be put on the rail to Bremerhaven? Then, once it arrives at the port for export, does the next ship have space? Or must you wait for the next one. If you are on the west coast of the USA, it takes about 2 weeks longer. My M5 hit the bodyshop on 9/20, paint shop on 9/21, and final assembly was completed on 9/22. It was released to distribution on 9/26, got on the ship on 10/4 and it arrived at the Port of Charleston today (10/15). All good dealers can give you this information. It now goes up to Greer to the VPC before getting trucked to my dealer in Florida. I should have the car by Oct 23 or 24. So, in this case it should be just over 30 days barring a backup at the VPC, service hold or damage to my vehicle.

'01 M5 tick tock, tick tock Clarice.

I've ordered two as each time it took 3 months.
Each time the car was at step 111 or 112 when I put down the cash to hold it.

How long does it take for an M5 to get to the dealer from the date it is built?? Dealer says about one month, can anyone verify for me.
