I have a post 3/00 and the sticker is 5w 30 and agree with you that the confusion is there. Mine was a 7/00 build.

Its to bad the factory requires us to go through the dealer. We ought to be able to email the factory on such issues.

Greg,I would follow up on this because a possible answer is that you have an engine with the old rings. How is you oil consumption?

Can you locate the engine SN no one has done that yet and it may shed light on this issue.
