Oil consumption has just about stopped on my early model (11/99). The low was 1qt./275 miles, it has always averaged about 1qt./600 miles and now that I'm nearing 8k miles on the engine, consumption is at 1400+ miles (still haven't needed to add)!

I'd say the music has finally stopped and everyone took their seat in there! Yippee, I can take the 911 badge back off...
