170 kW actually calculates to 227.973755231 hp....They have stronger ponies in Europe.

I guess we do, as the M3, etc...

The official data is available on the WEB, and
it states the following for the 330i:

170 KW / 231 PS
300 NM

Here's the link where I took the data I've posted, and you might find the car test interesting. There are many more to choose from when you go to the main page. Only small problem, at least for me, is that it's in German, but we get the idea.
