2001 Sportive Trim (archive)

Anyone out there with the Sportive Trim for 2001? I have a December delivery date for a Carbon Black/Black nappa with Sportive and was wondering had BMW changed the plastic with real aluminum. I know most 2000's had a peeling problem.
