When you picked up your M5 in Germany was the trunk mounted 6-disc CD changer installed or did your car receive this in the States? I pick up my '01 carbon black/caramel in Munich in a few months.

It was installed in Germany. I just got back from there, after driving the baby for 1,600 miles on the Autobahn…now I have to wait a month until it gets here! By the way, mine is carbon/caramel/burl, and I can tell you there's none better. Good luck.
