What will be the major changes to the M5 for 2001? (archive)

Sorry, new to the board, but was wondering what the new changes there will be, I know that there's a new body style coming, is that the 'change'? Plus I heard about SMG, but anybody know whether BMW will be offering a steptronic/auto trans in the future at all?
