Good idea to practice on something else. The odds are youll be stalling it out a little at first. It can handle that. I think you should rent/ get ahold of a stick car now and try it for a month. Really try to drive it- use it as a daily car. If you hate driving stick then you know to get out of the M5 and get the Mercedes E55 (basically their version of the M5 and its automatic)
