theft? (archive)

I've seriously been considering an M5 but have been concerned that since they are so rare they may be easy targets for theft. I live in NYC and I also plan on driving cross country. My first thought was to buy a S4 because its seems more stealth (possibly more reliable) and it is much cheaper so that even if it was stolen it probably wouldn't disturb me as much.

Any thought would be really helpful.
