It is as reliable as every other BMW (Very Reliable) and you will have much more fun in the M5! I have taken several trips over 2,000 miles with no problems. Bring a few liters of oil, you won't find the correct type anywhere but a BMW dealer.



Going to travel U.S. over next 2 months. Do you think M5 is reliable enough to take all over the country or should I go with friends 540?
