Hey Guys:

Just talked with my mechanics (they work for a Dinan shop) :) and we both agree that the CAI for the M5 (And Others) are just the tube and the K&N. Granted the software needs to be updated. I am going to check with a buddy of mine to get a aluminum tube(s) bent and see how it goes doing my own. Then the software is $399. Much better than the $1300 plus Dinan wants.

One thing is this, anyone know where they get Carbon tubing? Is stuff like that custom made or can you buy the tube and have it bent?

This kind of tinkering is fun! :)

Tim
