Going to travel U.S. over next 2 months. Do you think M5 is reliable enough to take all over the country or should I go with friends 540?

I drove 2450 miles from Chicago to San Diego at the end of July in my new M5. Car was perfect. Kept a few containers of oil in the drunk, window cleaner and paper towels and we were off and running. Get a bucket, some cotton towels, and some car wash solutions so you can clean off the bugs from the bumpers. And like the others have said, it was fun, fun, FUN!
