Make sure the tires are near perfect as you have no spare... It might make sense to bring along a tire plug kit...available at auto parts stores as a "just in case" item. I'd also bring a jack, lug wrench, and a portable air compressor.

Going to travel U.S. over next 2 months. Do you think M5 is reliable enough to take all over the country or should I go with friends 540?
