The only problem that concerns me about the movit Porsche brake set up is the run out of the wheel bearings. As bearing wear increases the possibility of warping the rotors increases.

Don't think it's a question of rotor warpage, as much as pad knockback. Rotor runout tends to push the pistons back into the caliper, resulting in a 'Whoops, where the hell are my brakes?' feeling when you reach for the whoa-pedal.

I can't imagine that with all the money tied up in E39s, no one can come up with a 100% solution for this.


Which brings another question. Has any one uppgraded to the Brembo brakes? And is there an issue with the wheel bearing run out with the Brembo set up?

This will be an issue with any fixed-caliper brake design, and both the Brembo and the Movit (which is Porsche-spec Brembo hardware adapted for BMW use) are fixed-caliper designs.
