Is it possible to get Euro-delivery on a new M5?

My dealer, BMW of San Francisco, claims no way.

I suspect they have just exhausted their allocation.

That's right. Or they just don't know what they're talking about.

We did Euro Delivery on an M5 (ordered 12/99 at MSRP, built 3/00, delivery scheduled for early May but had to push back to June for spousal business reasons) earlier this year.

We're on the Peninsula, but the car came from a dealer in Ohio. MSRP, very smooth transaction, everything went well.
