I have carbon black myself, and can only partially agree with the post below. If anything carbon black is more of a dark blue (in some lights) than a black. Carbon black is often times confused with Cosmos black which is a unique metallic black that appears as a dark Grey. In most obvious terms, its a dark color; dark colors are going to be harder to maintain. My Titanium silver M3 probably has awful swirl marks but are extremely difficult to see. With the proper care of the paint I feel that anyone can sufficiently minimize the swirl marks on their cars paint finish. When the swirls become plentiful and beyond what your hands can do to remove them an orbital buffer is your best tool. Porter Cable offers a 7424SP buffer that is wonderful, no matter how hard you press you can not damage the paint.

Anybody who has Carbon Black like it? or is it hard to maintain? Is it mostly black or you can really see some blue even if the car is not clean?
Thanks
