The new subs are free air. The trunk itself is the enclosure. I assume if you didn't opt for the M audio you'd get the same enclosure as the premium system in my 540, in which case it's mesaured at 15 inches. Well worth the $900 and the 1 1/2 inch of space (according to MJ). There are still 6 more orders in front of me!! I guess it's OK since I'm not going to drive it during the winter anyway.

MJ, did you try getting the headlight washer deleted and was told that it's not possible? Because it was my dealer who told me it could be deleted when I mentioned that I'd rather not have them, before I even asked him about it. Do you guys use them at all? Is it actuated when you use the windshield washer or is it controlled separately?

Did you get a handle on how much trunk space is lost with the enhanced bass option? The vertical dimension is already short due to the DSP system hanging down from the top. From these pictures, it looks like there will be even more lost vertical space with the enhanced bass option hanging down even more. I am assuming for the pictures, the felt cover was pulled down and the subs are not really exposed like that.
