It was my understanding that many people are getting a Z8 clutch to stop this problem. Is that true (apologies if this has been previously covered on this board)?

My M5 is also at Wagner for a new clutch. Other board members here, as well as at BMWM5.com have reported the clutch being replaced under warranty. I'm waiting for Paul or Todd to call me to let me know what's going on. If they tell me I have to pay, I'll put up a big stink. Do NOT agree to pay, as it will set a dangerous precedent! I have under 12K miles.
