My 540 was set up as follows: Stage 2 software, CAI, Supersprint Exhaust, Dinan stage 2 suspension, UUC short shifter, 3.15 rear end.

Well I tell you what, the M5 is a different beast. The suspension is not to much different but the acceleration is VERY different. The power is there thru the whole power band. The throttle response is much quicker. Overall the car is tighter and more responsive.

Well worth the upgrade.

Tim

How did you unload your 540? I've done the same stuff except for the Stage 3 susp. and not the Supersprint. Dealer did all work when car was new- now they tell me the car is a sales liability to them- that they will probably offer low wholesale price, even though the car is mint, MY2000, with low miles.
