The dealer is full of BS. They just want to steal it from you. Sell it online. And get your M5 elsewhere then take it by there for service and say to bad!

Actually a funny story here. I had an M3 that was all Dinan'd up. I went to trade it on my 540 (at the same dealer that did my modifications) and they gave me the same BS. "Oh the mods hurt the value of your car" my response was "So you are an autorized Dinan dealer and you are selling parts that devalue the car?" Salesman fumbled around and we left. I called the owner of the dealership the next day to "express my concern" that they were a dealer of parts that hurt cars values. He went back and forth and saw my point. I got a call several hours later from the salesman offering another $2500 to cover the mods on my car. :)

So do not believe them. Oh and by the way my M3 was on their lot 1 whole day before it sold.
