My M5 is also at Wagner for a new clutch. Other board members here, as well as at BMWM5.com have reported the clutch being replaced under warranty. I'm waiting for Paul or Todd to call me to let me know what's going on. If they tell me I have to pay, I'll put up a big stink. Do NOT agree to pay, as it will set a dangerous precedent! I have under 12K miles.

Paul mentioned there was another M5 in for a clutch. I contacted BMW NA (800-831-1117) and talked to Ernest at x36285, he is going to contact Paul and tell him it should be replaced under warranty. I then talked to Mark Wagner and he also said it should be covered. So now I'm waiting for the final answer. Paul also said they replaced a clutch in an M5 with only 1500 miles.

I'm in Hopkinton, are you in the area?
