Thanks for input. Looks like I may have to serv in NJ. Its too bad esp b/c I have at least half dozen friends looking for bmw's and I will strongly advise against manhattan bmw.

Sorry to hear it's "the only US dealer actually owned and operated by BMW itself" If that's how BMW operates a dealership maybe I should think about another brand.
