I agree with you, it's definitely easier to get the most out of the E55 in everyday real life. I suppose it's more involving and fun to drive the M5, whereas the E55 is far more practical.

Personally I would never take either sedan to the track, they just seem a bit out of place there, in my opinion.

What are your thoughts on the new M3? It should be a fun little thing too.
