Resale value difference between sport and exclusiv (archive)

Any noticeable resale difference? I am trying to decide between on or the other. Visited a dealer today with 3 cars with sport. They said they sold 15 this year, and 14 were sport. They claim sport is more popular. I have also heard contrasting views.

Also found out that the dash and glove box area in exclusive is covered with a synthetic that looks like leather and stitched like leather but is not. He read it to me from the BMWNA newletter. Sport just comes with a normal synthetic material that looks like a rubberized surface (same as 540's and 740's.

Any opinions?
