I find the 360 significantly louder than the 996TT. It was attracting way too much attention from the noise it generated.

Perhaps I'm the only odd one here but I am not keen about any engine or exhaust noise, Ferrari or whatever. To me, the quieter and faster the car is, the better. Nothing but my hand selected CD would qualify as music to my ears.

One thing I find surprising is that while the 996TT is a better everyday car with higher ground clearance, narrower body, safety of AWD, etc, the 360 actually has less squeaks and rattles and was roomier inside. However, nothing can beat the phenominal grip the 996TT has.

And our E55 and M5 compared to the above? Nothing but comfortable luxury sedans, built for a totally different purpose.
