When I was hunting for my M5, they kept calling me and asked me for a "market" price of $123k, $50k over MSRP. I told them the dealer in the bay area were asking $25k at most, and I have talked one of them down to $10k over MSRP but still was not satisfied with the price.

The salesdroid that called was also clueless about luxury tax. I told her I have to pay 5% over 38k for a new car, but she came up with some extraordinary number that I could save by buying a used one at $123k.


They are the worst in terms of sales and seemingly would rather sit on cars rather than move them. Talked to them about a used 00 540/6 that they were asking $60k for (12k miles). Bought a 99 with 9.7k miles for $46.5k. Their car is still sitting on the lot. On top of that, the salesmen I have dealt with there don't know the cars at all. Embarrassing.
