I had a problem the first week...Car would not start in garage the morning after I picked it up. A light came on saying "engine overide" or words to that effect. Towed it to dealer. They said it was fixed and then it happened the next day again. They had to replace the "DME" which is the digital brain in an M5...a major deal because it is not an on the shelf item... I made them pull one out of the factory which was destined for a new M5 after waiting for 2 weeks...since then the car has been perfect.

tonight I was in a deserted area of downtown baltimore and my m5 decided it would be a great time to start idealing hard and the check engine light came on, I got it home on limp mode, this is the second time.. I understand the m5 is a complicated automobile but I am a bit disipointed in the reliabilty factor... has anyone else had this problem?
