M stereo upgrade will I miss it?? (archive)

Is there a big difference in the optional M stereo as oppossed to the Stock M5 stereo (2001). I just bought Le Mans Blue M5, only option is the sunshades. This car was on the showroom floor (no wait). I just turned in a 2001 540i fully loaded and I figured I could live without the PDC and fold down rear seats, however, would of liked the stereo. Is the only difference the 10" subs? Is the stock M5 stereo better than the premium stereo in the 540i? I really would of liked this car with all options. Can PDC (front and rear) be added after market?

p.s. I am supposed to pick up the car Monday and I am wondering if I should wait for one with all the options. Also, I paid aprox. $5,000 mark-up and am now realizing that I probably could of gotten one for MSRP (which would then cost less with all the options.)
