you're right
e class gets the first supercharged 5+ liter, however i really think they will have to bump down the displacement in order for a lower compression ratio... i doubt it will be as high as 5.5 liters. SLR will probably get same exact engine but with higher boost. im actually kind of glad a lot of these carmakers are resorting to forced induction... will start to make the NA sport cars more exclusive and worth it (gt3, m3, RGT)

furthermore the 3.2 liter merc engine is already supercharged by AMG currently, they are selling the slk version of it with 350hp but only 300 lbft... i dont see how they plan on competing with m3, unless they underprice. c class is next to get this engine
