hey,
I'm new to the bimmer world and I'm looking for any information on either an independent shop or a (reasonably) fair dealer for my '91 750iL.
My car is at a dealer right now for an "Insp II" PLUS $$$. They seem o.k. but I haven't gotten the final bill yet.
I'm in Ocean County.

Leo, you're in luck!
A firm called Body Motion is in Ocean, NJ.
I have been using them for 12 years they do great work at a reasonable price. they specialize in Prosche & BMW's but are capable of anything. They did a fair amount of work on my '90 750 il.
the number is 493 2700
Ask for Mike Bavarao, the owner.
Tell him John Burke sent you. By the way I put the Dinan chip in mine with the tranny chip also and the European swaybars to tighten up the handling a little. I was pleased with the results.

Again, any input would be helpful.
TIA
Leo in NJ
