I was not trying to suggest that all Volvos are faster than M5s. My 945 has about 340HP and 385 ft/lbs at the rear wheels and weighs 3400 pounds - it is not a slow car. I've had it on track with stock M5s and - no question - it accelerates harder.

I like M5s. I am not questioning the M5's excellence. It's undoubtedly very fast, more refined and a "better" car than my Volvo.

I just wanted to know (on the off chance that the owner read this board) what mods he had done.
