It seems that many of you are having the same thoughts as me with regards to what to do. I am going to strike a deal with my dealer that if I dont want the M3 after say...90 days that he will buy it back. He offered that to me when we met last week. They anticipate stupid demand and felt confortble offering that as an option...btw, for what I have in it minus 1-2K. Many of you pointed out that the M3 may indeed be the more desirable of the two in the long run due to the fact that the M3 has more potential buyers..lower price, more racy etc. To be honest, money is a factor. I am lucky that we do fairly well BUT, I cant be stupid about the opportunity cost of the $850-900 per month this thing will lease out at. I wont buy it (afterall) because I can pick up 2-3 really good rentals with that same cash. We will see.

Got the call..our e46M3 will be hear in the next 60 days..we are #1 at our dealer. I need to decide if I should pay (around)55K for a new M3 or buy a slightly used M5 for 60k. I have been lurking on this board for months and have seen asking prices droping fast...would it be realistic to see M5 prices at or around that 60K # come April. Honestly, I would rather have a M5. Drove a friends, couldnt believe how friggen fast it was. BTW, He traded his to the local dealer in the high 60s and they sold it for 70..this was 3 months ago and it wasnt a real nice car. I need you opinions..Oh yeah, the M3 is at sticker...
