If your pulling in $35K+ per month, you could pay cash in 3 months, and have change for gas.

Unless your home ("minimal debt of a home") is damn near $3Mil,in which your payments would eat up your income...in that case I'd settle for something less expensive (just to not stretch it)!

I've seen others ask the members to tell their income on this board only to get shot down. I agree it's a private issue, but I wanted to turn it around and get your input without asking others such private matters.

Basically, I'm asking a survey to see if I'm in the ballpark of making enough income to realistically (without stretching) afford an M5.

Here's my situation: Early 30's, self employed, minimal debt (except house), making about 450K per year before taxes.

Is it reasonable to consider the M5 or should I settle for something less expensive?

Thanks in advance
