the principle counterpoint is that craig petersen is biased. well, mike valentine is, too, but who's trying to make a living selling a product?

unless i hear about some lawsuit against automobile magazine for posting invalid or doctored numbers, there's nothing to refute the fact that the valentine one unit needs an upgrade.

otherwise, it's just another nice $400 radar detector that keeps a lot of people happy. is it better? strict numbers don't say so. it's once again akin to comparing the audi s4 to the m3. you can compare them and one will win out, but there will always be people on either side who won't see your point anyway.
