Hi All,

I've owned BMWs for years and currently have a '97 540i/6 and '01 330i. I just got a nice fat commission check and the green light from the wife... so I'm in the market for an M5. My father has decided that he wants my 540 so I'm good to go.

Here's the problem... where do I find an M5 for a reasonable price? My local dealer has 3 '00s (used) on the lot and is asking between $82K and $86K for them. I find these prices to be outrageous, but doubt that they'll budge. Can anyone recommend a dealer where I might be able to find a reasonable deal on a '00 or '01 car? (I'm willing to travel to just about any point in the US) Can anyone offer some advice on how to get my local dealer's prices down to Earth?

I'm in no hurry and am willing to wait for what I want... but on the other hand one of the 3 local cars is EXACTLY what I want.

All advice and referrals are welcome.

Thanks!
-Andrew
