You might be able to get away with it! I have not seen any time constraints on the program.

I am moving to Germany and will likely buy an M5 to drive there for about 18 months.

I would like to bring the car home to the US after I leave Germany.

I assume that I would have to "federalize" the car to register it in the US. Anyone done this? Anyone have info on doing it? Anyone know a reputable conversion shop on the east coast (I live in NY).
