I plan on purchasing a 2002 M5 and keeping it for 8 to 10 years. It would be used as a daily commuter, not a car to be driven only on weekends or on fair weather days. How reliable is everyone finding their M5s to be? I'm not an idealist and realize there will be some problems because the M5 is a high performance car. But, I don't want to have to be taking it to the dealer every month either. I apologize for the long post. Blk on blk, M audio, PDC, and folding rear seats.
Besides having my 2000 m5 in the shop for 2 weeks due to a bad VANOS system.. I have had no problems.. you should definately talk your salesman into giving you a case of oil too, you will need it!
