I used to be in sales and traveled all over VA with the original V1 - never was detected with VG-2.

Upgraded when the new version came out and hardwired in current '00 540i6. Driven approx 2K miles (my estimate) in VA since delivery of this car and have never had a close call.

My best advice is tint the windows and install the V1 up high. Most importantly do not EVER rely totally on the V1. Use your mind. Don't be the idiot cruising 100mph in the left lane all by your lonesome for miles on end...you will be caught!

Ah, thought of how the motherland used to be uncrowded Autobahns, cheaper gas, makes one all teary!

Best Regards,
