My first impulse is to say that I'm amazed at how some dealers treat potential clients. My BMW dealer never fliched when I ordered an M5. On the other hand, I can tell you about the Acura dealer who wouldn't give me the time of day or the Porsche dealer who thought I would be "better off" looking into a Miata. Thse guys size you up the monent you walk into the sales room. They look at your dress (I tend to wear jeans and t-shirts), your age (at 21, I wouldn't show you a 318), and the car you drove in on. But drive your M5 in to any lot and see the reception you get!

It has nothing to do with BMW or MB, it has to do with the perception of sales people. I'd like to go back to that Porsche dealer now and show him that title (i.e, no f%$king lein) for my 01 M5 now but I figure I got the best end of the deal anyways. Hell, I got the better car.

Through the power of your wallet and your review. If some company pisses you off, take your money elsewhere and let as many people as you can know about it.
Had my local Mercedes dealership (Star Motors)treat me the same way. I was trying to decide between the E55 and the M5. Guess what I'm driving now?
Please don't think I just let the salesman put me off. I also checked out their service and parts department. They treated me worse than their sales department.
These type of dealerships whether they be Mercedes or BMW do not deserve your money. Do not give it to them.
