my service tech there told me that this m5 was crashed into a ditch while it was being tested by a bmw tech for its 1200mi check up. estimated 35-40k in damage. 3-5 months to fix. that really sucks! he also told me a 35yr old woman owned the car too.

I thought that when car needs repairs that amounts to 50% of cars msrp that it's considered totalled....I gaurentee that happens to me I'm driving out of there in a new M5.
