Either the M5, in incredible luxury, will win the race or maybe the impreza will win.
It really is an an irrelevant challenge which probably could be resolved by checking a back isu of Road and Track to compare 1/4 mile and 0-60 of stock cars.
If the impreza is being modified - then really its to see if a modified impreza can beat, in a straight line, an unmodified M5. Do not get me wrong, I think the Impreza is an incredible value - it would be great in the winter and on rough roads - but as they say , it aint no M5, even if it happens to beat the guy at the wheel of the M5.
The M5, as all owners will atttest, is mostest of everything (power, luxury, torque, speed, looks, style, practicality, etc.) It is all a car can be. (incidently, to launch an M5 correctly, without smoking the clutch requires quite a bit of finesse, I hope our trusty M5 driver-representative is up to the challange - we all have M5 egos here!)
