I was driving directly beside a county cop just a few minutes ago and pulled into a shopping center. I hadn't been speeding and I had my seatbelt on so I was puzzled. I pulled into a spot and he pulled up behind me. He announced that I probably didn't know why he had just pulled me and I said, "of course not." He told me that the local city officers were starting to cite the kids who put clear lenses on their tail lamps and colored bulbs or covers on their headlamps. I explained that my lights weren't colored but that the gas emits a blue hue. I tried to find something in the manual that explained this but couldn't (not in haste anyway). He just said, I'm not going to cite you but I want you to know that you should tone it down a bit. I again argued that these lights are stock and NOT colored.
