My 2000 M5 (build date of 02/2000) is on its third clutch and flywheel assmebly. All this in 5,200 fairly easy miles. The dealer has replaced both times at no cost to me. However, you wonder why this is happening at all.

Tony

My clutch is completely worn out at 7800 miles. Costs $1600 to replace. Is there a clutch recall or does warranty cover this?

thanks
