Do you have anything to cover the monitor when you leave the car? Seems like the punks would see that screen and then have a field day taking all your gear...
I've been flirting with the idea of putting a monitor in my own vehicle. I already have what I believe is a pretty nicely sounding system (JL Audio, MB Quart, Eclispe), but the addition of some sort of DVD player and a monitor would be awesome.
How much was the monitor, not including labor?
And its make/model number?

Ok guys. My system is now complete. I must say that it was way worth it. Yes I have lost some functions but I never really used the on-board computer, so no big deal to me. The sound quality is that of a professional competition system, the resolution for the DVD movies and Playstation 2 games are just sick. Here are some pics and a link to my site with more pics. I will add full details as to each component installed and what the costs were. (I put this on the other board as well)
