since you asked, I have current Grand-Am Pro, SCCA Pro, and NASA liscences. I compete in the ACRL Pro series and wound up 5th in the championship last year after missing one event. I am doing the full season this year and will be racing at Virginia International Raceway this weekend. I have been racing for 14 years.
I left foot brake at turn one Mid Ohio, and turn 13 Watkins Glen (long course),Thats about it.
Left foot braking is dificult at first because your left foot will not have the same sensitivity to modulating the pedal your right has built up over the years. I frequently LFB on the street just to maintain that sensitivity. If I didn't race I would not LFB at all.
Since I'm on the topic it's also a good "Dick Dastardly" trick to throw off closely following competitors by LFB just enough to activate the brake lights. Particularly effective for bunched up rolling starts.
