2001 NAV screen and CPT8000 mike (archive)

Does anyone know how to set the color of the 2001 nav screen to a different color so it consistently stays that color? Mine changes back after the car is turned off. Also, the CPT8000 mike sensitivity in the car sounds muffled..any comments? Thanks in advance PS tire pressure..I am going with the door sticker recommend not the manual.
