Well, even if that is true, most dealers will tell you it isn't so proof of something is what he's asking. Dealer told me clutch slippage is the nature of the beast and is not covered. Many others have had to pay out of pocket too, so the question is not unreasonable.


If you are in the USA, clutch, brake rotors, brake pads etc are all covered under full warranty. The dealership just has to verify the slippage and then BMW will take care of it. It is in your full warranty book and I have seen BMWNA memos at the dealership explaining the same. You ARE covered for 3yrs/36000 miles period.
